cd burning endeavor

Finally got around to making new cd's because I got tired of hearing the same songs on my old cd's and some of them started going bad. By the way, my cd's and iPod have songs mainly from the 80's and few early 90's and a couple 60's. I cleaned up my iPod by removing the same old songs I got tired of hearing and downloaded new ones which I was able to drag individually to the iPod. Lesson leaned: always import your cd's to your pc because if the cd's go bad you'll lose the songs.  When listening to the radio, I'd remember that there were old favs I had on original cd's that I want to redownload  because they got lost when the original cd's went bad and did so immediately. Fortunately,  for others, the favs were on my old computer and I was able to burn those to cd. The download included some typical 80's classics like Def Leppard, Whitney Houston, Rick Springfield, and Bryan Adams. Can't have cd's without at least one song from these guys! Today, I was downloading some songs I heard on the radio that are favs and saw an album of 80's hits on sale and decided to browse through it to see what songs would catch my liking. Glad I did as it inspired me to download some 80's classics like Grandmaster flash, Bow Wow Wow, and The Waitresses. Grandmaster Flash's famous song not only had a catchy tune non hardcore tune to their  rap but it also told the ugly realities of our society  Now to sync the updated iPod to my labtop and finish importing the new cd's into the computer.
