non traditional religions

while flipping through the tv for the past 2-3 days, I saw parts of one movie about escaping a Mormon polygamist cult and another involving the Amish community. That might warrant some research into the non traditional religions. I know the Mormons can be separated into different groups. There's one set who live modern day lifestyles with computers and the women wear regular clothes including short sleeves. Then there's the cultist group that don't have technology, the women wear these long dresses and have their heads covered. The guys are in long sleeved shirts and pants all the time and are polygamist. The leader of the cult chooses who the women will marry and when. They are usually married at age 14 and the leader is usually in his 40's.
