new tutoring position

Well, I started a new tutoring position for Tutorworks at Lincoln elementary school in Richmond, CA. Many of the of the students there are Spanish speaking and qualify for the free breakfast. We help them prep for the CST's.
In Making Waves Academy, we changed the structure of the afterschool program. It's now called Math Applications. First hour is math instruction, second hour is working on concepts. For the second hour, the kids go into different rooms depending on their math level. It's much more organized than before. Before it was anything goes! Do math, reading, LLA, Social Studies. Many kids either didn't have their homework done or did it wrong. Now, they have homework folders and the teacher collects the homework at the end of Math Applications
