We had a mini olympics at Making waves on 6/19/09. I helped with the 50 yd dash by making sure the kids' feet stayed on or behind the starting line. After that at 5, there was a closing ceremony where they announced the winners from each grade. They had a family pot luck dinner at 6 where the students presented their Isearch projects. I got home at 8. There was music from Rocky, Top Gun, G&R. It was long but fun day! Check out the pics!

For the past couple of years I've been working with special ed kids in the day and as an afterschool teacher in a recreation center that focuses on art. I've been working in that recreation center for the past 3 summers as well. Aside from that I like rural USA, cooking, swimming, walking to Lodi Lake. Latest obsession: orange stretch bracelets and short sleeve orange sweaters
