digital TV

Yesterday, I tried to watch TV but I couldn't get any channel past 37. I called comcast and they said I need to get the DTA box. The lady gave me three comcast stores near me. I went to the one in El Cerrito but they sent me to the one in Berkeley saying they don't serve emeryville. I got my DTA box from Berkeley. It was easy to hook up the box to the TV. One cord goes from the outlet in the wall to the box and the other goes from the box into the back of the TV. It comes with its own remote. I had to turn on the TV to channel 3 and have the box set at channel 3 which it already was. I called comcast and they activated it in 2 seconds. I was able to use the remote to change the channels on the tv but I had a hard time programming it to shut the TV off and on. I called comcast again. The DTA box comes with a booklet for the remote where they give you several codes for your TV brand. The technician tried every single code for the Vizio but none worked. We also tried finding the code manually. After several tries, I used the first code which succeeded in turning the TV off and on
