corporate world

As you know, it's hard to find a job. It's changed so much since the 50's. In the 50s people already had jobs when they got out of high school and were settled for life. NO MORE. Now they change careers, jobs, and residences several times. I am starting to think based on what I hear that writing a resume is just a formality. Anyone can get someone else to write their resume for them. It's WHO YOU KNOW NOT WHAT YOU KNOW. Many times, this is a mistake because the person doesn't have the interpersonal or professional capabilities that the job requires. That's why the organization has so many problems. I heard that people bully in the corporate world because they're afraid of being shown up. Is that true? The majority of corporate bullies have high positions so I am wondering if they charmed their way to where they are. I find that the bullies are really good at working the system. A state official gets called to the organization and you don't know why. The bullies can't take what they dish out. They complain to authorities the minute someone asserts themselves. However, everybody goes along with what they do. I am wondering do they sincerely believe the person or are they afraid of them? In education, this is especially true. The ones who can be great if given the right help don't get it and often have problems with the bullies.
