Let's talk about procrastination?
I think sometimes everybody does it. Although I know it's not good, I've been guilty of it many times. For example, I wait until my car is really filthy before I do a good clean inside and out. Same with bookkeeping. I wait until a month and a half before downloading bank statements. However, I must admit I'm getting better by making exactly once a month the time to do it. Not procrastinating should have been one of my new years resolutions. I guess for the car I put it off because I focus on other things like lesson planning or want to have fun browsing the net. Also, I think about how long it will take which makes me not want to do it. Even at night when I watch the TV it's hard to get away from the TV even to get the food out of the oven and it ends up being dry. I guess because the TV has a way of making you lazy. However, I try to get up from the TV at midnight as I don't want to be up all night watching TV.
What are some things you guys procrastinate on?
For the past couple of years I've been working with special ed kids in the day and as an afterschool teacher in a recreation center that focuses on art. I've been working in that recreation center for the past 3 summers as well. Aside from that I like rural USA, cooking, swimming, walking to Lodi Lake. Latest obsession: orange stretch bracelets and short sleeve orange sweaters
