In addition to small group and individual tutoring and afterschool programming, I started working specifically with special needs kids.

picture frame dilemmas
I found four picture frames at Michaels and one at Ross. I exchanged the picture frame at Michaels with three smaller ones. I think it was a better trade because the three smaller frames had a fuller flower picture than the bigger one. They were only an addition 4$ more. With one of them, the bigger version had a scratch on it so I took the remaining smaller one left. I checked for the same frame in another Michaels but kept my own since it was the best compared to what was available. With another frame, I found the same one at another Michaels for $12.99 whereas I paid $19.99 for the one I had. I exchanged it for the cheaper one and got back the difference in money. Get the most from your money. I tried to hang three of the smaller frames with nails. It was stressful getting the nails exactly lined up and hammered into the wall in a straight line. I went to Lowe's and the guy there said to use one nail with a plug. First the plug goes in the wall and then screw in the nail leaving a small part out. He said hammering nails in the wall is stressful since the nails can go completely in the wall and are hard to line up. I couldn't get the plug in the wall even by hammering the nail in and twisting the plug. Next, I tried a hook but the hook was visible. I ended up keeping the nails I hammered in the wall. Two for each pic one the 1st and last ridge. For one other picture, I tried a smaller hook but the picture fell. Luckily, it stayed intact. Next, I tried two nails on each ridge but they went straight in the wall so I tried a bigger hook which worked. For the last two one being a bigger version on the other, I used a smaller hook with the smaller picture which was easier to hang. The hook stays out and I just had to tap the frame to straighten it. For the bigger one, I used a bigger hook and got it in there after some haggling with the hook which you have to hold outwards. For the last one, there was already a hole in the wall so the plug fit in nicely and I was able to screw in the nail and hang the picture with no problem. I'll wait until the coupon for 40% off becomes valid before I buy something else.
