If you're ever in Walnut Creek or Concord and are looking for something sweet or just a plain good sandwich A Sweet Affair is definitely the place! It has a wide variety of cookies, cakes (all labeled and all in sizes big and small), all sorts of breads ranging from baguettes to different types of cinnamon toasted bread, jams (the first bakery I've seen jam for sale), big chocolate brownies, simple but delicious freshly cooked sandwiches, coffee. My personal favorites: the snicker doodle cookies and the white chocolate chip cookies. The best time to go is in the morning to early afternoon to see the wide variety. If you see the snicker doodle cookies get a bunch because they are the first to run out! Great spot to visit with a friend while enjoying a cup of coffee and a sandwich or even people watch because its in a great location filled with other small eats and general shopping!
