What's changed? I'd say not much. Obama gives a speech about how he feels for the victims' families and then talks about how he's going to have stricter gun control laws for the next week and then everybody forgets. The NRA tries to save face by saying gun control isn't the answer. Adam Lanza was mentally ill and no one did anything about it so in a way school officials and his parents are to blame.
In addition to small group and individual tutoring and afterschool programming, I started working specifically with special needs kids.
