what happened today at work?

while making appointment reminder calls, the area code for one of the patients didn't look right so I told my coworker and she said not to call it. Another interesting fact: the girl is 14 and if her parents find out she's going to a womens' clinic for a pregnancy test and they don't like it.......

another coworker said she doesn't want to talk to people who talk about her. I agree and don't want to do the same either. I told her that the corporate world can be like high school where social status is everything:sometimes looks and gossip are what get you up the corporate ladder but in these places worker morale is low.
