What do you think of Proposition 8?

Proposition 8 didn't pass so gay couples are applying for marriage licenses. I am not sure of the legalities on voting on legislation more than once. In November 08, the Supreme Court ruled against it. Many people in NY, SF, and LA were protesting in the streets.These big cities tend to vote more liberal so they would tend to be in favor of this legislation. Look at SF-homosexual paradise-and Berkeley-a very progressive city. When I was walking in SF in Fall 2008, there were people passing out flyers to vote no on prop 8. With SF's reputation, this shouldn't come as a surpirse. Shortly after the '08 election, the Court made the same decision. How did it get to the Court again? I would think many people would be reluctant to go to a same sex marriage since they aren't common and many people don't agree with it.
