night out

Thanks to two friends last Wednesday I had a really great time at Pizza Rock. For those of you who don't know and I never heard of the place until last week it's a pizza restaurant in downtown sacramento. On Wednesday there's 80's night and it really was 80's night. The waitresses really had the 80's thing going; off the shoulder shirts, short skirts, hair in a ponytail to the side. They also played a bunch of 80's songs videos included which my friends all recognized. My three favorite of the night and yes I was asked: 1. Take on Me by Ah Ha-remember the guy who jumped in the cartoon, 2. Safety Dance by Men without Hats and 3. Money for Nothing by Dire Straights. By the way I have Take on me and Safety Dance on my pod. That being said, go on Wednesday if you were born in 85 or earlier because you would remember the artists. Couple friends were practically singing along with the songs. As for the pizza it was great! As usual I ordered pepperoni and surprisingly it tasted great when I warmed it the next day. I want to go back preferably on Wednesday night. One thing I want to warn you about is that parking might be tough. Luckily, I found a parking garage that was 2 seconds away. Before you leave the garage you have to go outside the garage to pay for your parking ticket because there are no pay stations inside it. Doesn't make sense. The secoruity guy asked me if I just got off work. I was surprised because I was wearing long leggings, boots, and an off the shoulder shirt and it was 10 pm. if I'm dressed like that and getting off of work at 10 pm it's probably work of the illegal sort. The website for Pizza Rock is http://pizzarocksacramento.com/.
